Ted Lasso Season 4: Locations for the New Series on Apple TV

August 24, 2026

The finale of the third season of Ted Lasso left fans with limited hope of ever seeing the most beloved coach of TV series back on screen. Yet the surprise greeted by Apple TV’s decision to let the character played by Jason Sudeikis embark on a brand-new, unprecedented venture was not lost on audiences. The challenge the coach will be called to face in the ten new episodes available on the platform from August 5 2026 is, in many respects, also a homecoming, as suggested by the evocative locations chosen for filming.

What it’s about

At the start of the new season, Ted Lasso is still in the United States, where he had gone to be near his son Henry. A delegation of players from the local Richmond team approaches him, however, to persuade him to take on a new mission: coaching the AFC Richmond Women, who compete in the English second division. Ted agrees and, after crossing the ocean in the opposite direction, finds himself on a pitch he knows well but facing dynamics that are completely different from those he was used to: the harmony and mutual trust between players and coach, as well as the strategies to win, are all to be built from scratch.

Where the series was filmed

Although some initial scenes of the new season were shot in Kansas City for narrative reasons, most of the locations for Ted Lasso 4 return to the western London area, specifically in the Richmond district.

Richmond

The district is one of the most famous – and most distinctive: to such an extent that some suggest treating it as a kind of separate village and devoting a full day to exploring it in London. On High Street, you can shop among the latest fashions; there are many pubs where you can spend an evening in quintessential English style; and there are numerous spots for a stroll or a relaxing break with views over the River Thames.

The picturesque riverside of Richmond For Ted Lasso fans visiting Richmond, there are a few addresses not to miss where Ted Lasso 4 was filmed.

The Richmond Green, first of all: a recreational area where locals love to work out (there’s even a cricket pitch), stroll, rest on benches, and have picnics. Inside the park, which is surrounded by historic buildings like the Richmond Theatre, the library, and what remains of Richmond Palace, renowned events such as the May Fair in spring and the Victorian Evening during the Christmas season take place.

Nearby Richmond Green are two other locations from Ted Lasso 4 that anyone who followed the seasons will recognize on screen: Paved Court and the pub where the coach is used to celebrating victories with athletes and teams. The former is a pedestrian street lined with chocolate shops, fashion boutiques, cafés, and small artisanal shops loved by locals and tourists alike.

What on screen is called The Crown & Anchor is actually The Prince’s Head: a pub with more than 300 years of history, where you can enjoy a pint of beer accompanied by English dishes reinterpreted with a gourmet twist.

Other locations of Ted Lasso 4

Moving away from Richmond and West London, among the places where Ted Lasso Season 4 was shot return the Rivoli Ballroom and, of course, the SkyEx Community Stadium. Located in Crofton Park, the Rivoli ballroom is the only one in London still as it was in the 1950s, with red velvet upholstery, chandeliers, Chinese lanterns and mirrored orbs on the walls; the exterior in art deco style is also noteworthy.

What appears on screen as the stadium where the AFC football team trains is the small local Hayes Stadium – it seats 3,000 in total, with around 1,000 seats – home to the Hayes & Yeading United Football Club.
