Prince Albert II of Monaco Visits Langhe: The Itinerary

Friday, October 9, the Langhe region is preparing to welcome the Prince Albert II of Monaco: the sovereign has a precise itinerary that will touch several villages recently admitted to the Association of Grimaldi Historic Sites of Monaco and linked by ancient ties to the Monaco dynasty. The institutional visit will, however, include stops in some of the villages of Alta Langa, meetings with administrations and local communities. The three towns are united by a history that runs through the Del Carretto family, protagonists for centuries in the history of this part of Piedmont. From here emerges the connection with the Grimaldis and with the origins of Monaco’s own dynasty.
