Two promotions for countless destinations: the Air France and KLM airlines are back to pushing the Economy fare for travelers departing from Italy, bringing to the table unbeatable opportunities for short getaways or longer trips.
KLM has opened the promotional sales allowing booking up to September 17, 2026 for many discounted destinations to depart between October 1, 2026 and June 21, 2027, with some restrictions during holiday periods. Air France, on the other hand, focuses on its Seasonal Economy offers from several Italian airports with lots of destinations at discounted prices… but seat availability is limited.
Here are four wow-factor destinations to book right away.
New York with Air France
New York returns as one of the most immediate destinations in Air France’s promotion, with Economy round-trip flights from 542 euros. Autumn remains one of the nicest periods to visit the city. Central Park changes color, temperatures are still comfortable, and the calendar fills quickly: Halloween, the New York City Marathon, then Thanksgiving and the approaching Christmas. It is also a season favorable for walking without a strict itinerary. Central Park alone can fill half a day, especially between October and November, when green gives way to red, orange, and gold.
In winter Bryant Park becomes one of the reference points, between the ice rink and the Winter Village, while Rockefeller Center brings back one of the most classic images of New York’s Christmas. On the coldest days, the city moves indoors: the MoMA, the American Museum of Natural History, and other major museums become a natural part of the itinerary.
The Caribbean with Air France
More tropical is Air France’s second option: Pointe-à-Pitre, in Guadeloupe, with promotional Economy round-trip fares from 599 euros. The compact city is built around the La Darse area, where the harbor, markets, colonial buildings, and street art can be found. Place de la Victoire remains one of the most recognizable spots in the center, while the cathedral of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul tells a different story: rebuilt with a sturdier metal framework after earthquakes that struck the city, it has become one of Pointe-à-Pitre’s emblematic buildings.
Moving around the rest of the island, Sainte-Anne offers an easily accessible public beach and is embedded in the town’s fabric, between restaurants, markets, and palm trees. A little further on, La Caravelle and Bois Jolan bring back the Caribbean’s classic imagery: light-colored sand, vegetation, and warm sea. A winter escape, in short, but without staying in a resort.
Guayaquil with KLM
Among the KLM offers is Guayaquil, with fares from 880 euros. Ecuador’s most populous city is often treated as a gateway to other parts of the country. In fact, a few days here makes sense.
The first landmark is Malecón 2000, the large riverfront revitalized along the Guayas, now lined with restaurants, shops, cultural spaces, and pedestrian areas. From there you can climb toward Cerro Santa Ana, a neighborhood of colorful houses, narrow streets, and bars, up to the panoramic lighthouse. To reach it you must tackle 444 steps, but from above the view opens onto the bay and the city’s silhouette. There is also a greener side: Isla Santay, connected to the mainland by a pedestrian and bike bridge, a protected area that almost seems to detach from the metropolis while remaining close to the center.
Dar es Salaam with KLM
KLM’s fare from 690 euros to Dar es Salaam opens the door to Tanzania’s more urban face. The city has grown into a large tropical metropolis and one of East Africa’s major commercial ports, yet it continues to move neighborhood by neighborhood, with distinct identities.
The Kivukoni fish market probably gives the most immediate image of Dar: at dawn the dhows arrive, auctions begin, and the catch quickly moves from sellers to nearby kitchens. On the Msasani Peninsula come the breeze of the Indian Ocean, cafes, restaurants, crafts, and connections to nearby islands. From here you can reach Bongoyo Island, or continue toward Mbudya for a day of sea and snorkeling.
