Just 150 Meters from Formula 1: Experience the Monaco Grand Prix from the Sea

September 26, 2026

The Formula 1® Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco 2027 will again transform the Riviera into one of the world’s premier stages for sport and social life. For those seeking a distinctive way to experience the race weekend, Explora Journeys offers an experience that brings luxury to the heart of the event: from June 2 to June 7, 2027, in fact, EXPLORA I will return to Port Hercule, just 150 metres from the circuit.

Following the experiences of 2025 and 2026, it will be the third consecutive year in which the ship stops in Monaco for the Grand Prix, and its location will allow guests to be a few steps away from the energy of the circuit, while still enjoying a more private and relaxed atmosphere on board.

Suite with private terrace and views of the weekend’s glamour

Bookings for 2027 are already open and allow choosing between stays limited to suites and packages that pair the suite with a three-day access to the Grand Prix stands.

On board EXPLORA I, the experience is designed to continue beyond the circuit: the accommodations are ocean-front suites, all equipped with a private terrace, while the dining offering comprises six restaurants, complemented by 12 bars and lounges. During the stay, premium beverages are also included.

Wellness plays another important role in the experience, with an ocean-inspired offering that includes spa and fitness facilities. The ship thus becomes a kind of privileged address from which to experience Monaco, with the possibility to move from the circuit to the sea’s tranquility without sacrificing comfort.

Three days of grandstands to follow the Grand Prix up close

For those wishing to experience the sporting event from the stands, the available formats include a three-day access to the grandstands. The offer allows you to follow the race weekend while using EXPLORA I as a base, moored in the heart of Port Hercule.

There is also a further option to get even closer to the world of Formula 1: three-day suites with F1 Paddock Club™ hospitality packages will be available later. The experience will also include access to moments dedicated to gourmet gastronomy, walks along the pit lane, and the opportunity to meet Formula 1 legends.

Bookings for this package are not yet open, but you can already register your interest through Explora Journeys.

From the Grand Prix to a journey in the Mediterranean

The Monaco stay can also be just a stopover on a longer journey: Explora Journeys offers the possibility to pair the Grand Prix weekend with a Journey before or after the event.

Among the options is the Rome to Monaco voyage, from May 24 to June 7, which allows reaching Port Hercule aboard the ship. Alternatively, you can continue from Monaco to Barcelona, from June 2 to 14, and carry on the journey after the race weekend.

To experience the trip in its fullest form, you can combine both itineraries and embark on a Rome to Barcelona Journey from May 24 to June 14, placing the Grand Prix within a longer stay in the Mediterranean.

The return of EXPLORA I after the experiences of 2025 and 2026

The return to Monaco in 2027 follows two editions that have strengthened the bond between Explora Journeys and the iconic race weekend. During the 2025 and 2026 events, the on-board guests included legendary figures from motorsport, such as Sir Jackie Stewart, Mika Häkkinen, and David Coulthard.

The programs of the previous years also included exclusive events tied to the glamorous dimension of the Grand Prix, such as the Official Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco 2026 Opening Party and the iconic Vanity Fair Club in 2025.

For 2027, the full on-board event program has not yet been disclosed: all details will be announced soon.
