Summer isn’t over yet, but in the major Italian amusement parks it’s already time to think about Halloween. Between spine-tingling sets, horror tunnels, giant pumpkins, shows and attractions open until late, the autumn season is set to deliver new exciting experiences for families, children, and horror enthusiasts.
In 2026, several of the main parks in Italy have indeed announced special events and notable new features, with calendars that in some cases already begin in September. From Gardaland to Mirabilandia, and on to MagicLand, here’s what to expect for Halloween 2026.
Gardaland: Halloween Arrives Already in September
The big novelty of 2026 concerns Gardaland, where the traditional Gardaland Magic Halloween event will exceptionally start earlier than usual. The event in Veneto is scheduled from September 12 to November 1, for a total of 51 consecutive days featuring mysterious atmospheres, enigmatic creatures, smiling pumpkins, and immersive set designs.
The season’s opening will also be accompanied by Oktoberfest da Paura, scheduled until September 27 in Piazza Jumanji, where live folk music, Bavarian specialties and beers will meet the Halloween ambience.
To preview the new season, there will also be Gardaland Stars Night, planned for Saturday, September 5 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. A long evening of music and entertainment will feature DJ Antoine, Cristian Marchi and Molella, along with Jeanine Fakko and Luca Lazza. The attractions will stay open late, turning the park into a huge open-air party under the stars.
Mirabilandia: Horror and Fun for the Whole Family
At Mirabilandia, in the province of Ravenna, Halloween will return from the last weekend of September and will continue through the park’s closing (Sunday, November 1, 2026), with a program designed to involve visitors of all ages. The entire area will be themed and will host shows and animations dedicated to the year’s scariest festival.
Among the most eagerly awaited attractions is Suburbia, touted as the largest horror area inside an Italian amusement park. For adults and teens there will be horror tunnels and adrenaline-pumping routes, while children and families can choose experiences more suitable to their age.
The program also includes enchanted and fairy-tale tunnels and paths, dedicated shows and performances, and naturally all the park’s attractions, creating an offering capable of alternating fear and fun.
MagicLand: 7 Horror Mazes and the Pumpkin Farm
Also the MagicLand in Valmontone (RM) is preparing to celebrate Halloween with a particularly rich program. The event is set from October 3 to November 1, 2026, when the park of Central-Southern Italy will be fully themed with new, ominous scenographies and settings.
For horror enthusiasts there will be seven horror mazes, while for families the Pumpkin Farm and two paths dedicated to children are planned. The Ghost Park will also be present, featuring soft inflatables, along with parades, shows, animations, special events, and characters that will bring the park’s various areas to life.
To complete the experience there will also be a special Halloween-themed food offering, designed to accompany a day of magic, adrenaline, and spine-tingling atmospheres.
