Cruise with Jannik Sinner: Dates, Stops, and Cost

August 1, 2026

Traveling aboard a luxury ship in the company of the current world No. 2 in tennis, Jannik Sinner? Everyone dreams of taking a sports vacation with the South Tyrolean champion… and for a fortunate few, it will become reality, a unique experience to inaugurate the EXPLORA III: 5 nights, 6 ports and 2 countries crossed, sailing the Mediterranean from Genoa to Civitavecchia and making stops at several French destinations.

This is the Mediterranean Prelude Journey by Explora Journeys, which has decided to enrich the on-board wellness experience by launching the new program “In Balance: an ocean wellness program with Jannik Sinner.” Here’s how the dream of a vacation with Sinner can become real (but only for a few).

The special cruise with Jannik Sinner

It is called Prelude Journey, the exclusive voyage organized on the new ship Explora III together with Sinner: a unique opportunity to meet the South Tyrolean champion, who serves as Global Brand Ambassador for Explora Journeys. For a few days, the beloved tennis star will leave his cherished Monte Carlo and, instead of planning a getaway to his homeland in the Dolomites, he will travel aboard this luxury ship to accompany guests on a memorable experience.

During the journey’s first leg, from Genoa to Civitavecchia, over two days, guests will be able to speak directly with Sinner in a private Q&A session, attend a charity gala dinner in support of the Jannik Sinner Foundation and the MSC Foundation at the French restaurant Fil Rouge, and participate in private coaching sessions on the ship’s padel court with the champion and his performance team. A series of exclusive experiences with limited availability to book in advance (some require a dedicated surcharge).

The journey’s stops

The voyage starts in Genoa and follows the sun-soaked shores of the Côte d’Azur and the Ligurian Riviera until it ends in Civitavecchia (Rome). It stops in Marseille, Saint-Tropez and Villefranche-sur-Mer (Nice), before arriving in Livorno. At each stop, guests can explore the destination at their own pace, fully immersing themselves in the summer atmosphere of the Mediterranean.

The trip includes numerous premium services, including nine culinary experiences, unlimited beverages, and spa access, in addition to the wellness program “In Balance” developed in collaboration with Jannik Sinner and his team, aligned with the Ocean Wellness philosophy of the cruise line. The program translates the discipline of high-level competition into a wellness experience tailored for guests and is structured around four pillars: Train, Re-centre, Restore and Renew.

Retreats with tennis greats are a rising trend in luxury sports travel: the same Sinner, at certain times of the year, flies to the Maldives to meet the fortunate resort guests, who will be able to take private lessons with him.

“Jannik embodies the poise and meticulous concentration that define our vision of ocean travel,” stated Anna Nash, president of Explora Journeys. “This partnership goes beyond wellness; it’s about creating a space and providing the know-how to enable our guests to find clarity, balance and serenity aboard. Welcoming Jannik aboard Explora III for his inaugural voyage adds a special meaning to the occasion, while we introduce both our newest ship and this new wellness program, further enriching the oceanic mood.”

When it departs and how much the trip costs

The Jannik Sinner cruise departs Genoa on July 24, 2026 and arrives in Civitavecchia on July 29. Jannik and his performance team will accompany guests on the first leg, namely July 24 and 25.

Prices start from €6,800 per person (adult). To book, you’ll need to visit the official Explor a Journeys website at explorajourneys.com.
