Autumn can be the right moment to treat yourself to one last trip before the Christmas holidays, especially when reaching certain European cities can be achieved for a truly modest amount. Ryanair has launched a new promotion with flights starting from 24.99 euros, inviting travelers to “escape the daily monotony” and plan a new departure in the coming months.
The offer is available for bookings made by October 16, 2026 and applies to travel between October 1 and December 17, 2026. As is usual with this kind of promotion, fares are subject to availability and can change rapidly depending on the route and the chosen date.
Looking among the available connections, however, there are also deals that start from amounts below 24.99 euros advertised by the airline. From Milan, Bologna, and Palermo, for example, there are three European destinations perfect for organizing an autumn city break spending less than 20 euros per one-way leg.
From Milan Malpensa to Rzeszów
Among the most attractive fares are flights from Milan Malpensa to Rzeszów, Poland, starting at 14.99 euros. A destination decidedly less popular than Kraków or Warsaw, but precisely for that reason interesting for those who have already visited Poland’s most famous cities.
Rzeszów is located in southeastern Poland and serves as the capital of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The starting point to discover it is Rynek, the Market Square that forms the heart of the old town and faces the elegant Town Hall. One of the most distinctive experiences hides right beneath the square: the Rzeszów Cellars, an underground tourist route through ancient cellars and passages used by merchants over the centuries. Also worth seeing is the Lubomirski Castle, with its characteristic fortified structure and four bastions.
From Bologna to Copenhagen
The scenery and atmosphere change completely when flying from Bologna to Copenhagen, with fares starting from 16.99 euros. In autumn, the Danish capital reveals one of its most fascinating sides, with cool days, cafes, Scandinavian design, and that hygge ambiance that seems tailor-made for the season.
A first visit should inevitably include Nyhavn, the ancient harbor turned into one of the city’s iconic spots thanks to its colorful 17th-century houses, canal-side bars, and historic boats. There is also the famed Søren (Little Mermaid), inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale, the royal palaces and Tivoli, the historic amusement park opened in 1843 and located a short stroll from the central station.
From Palermo to Memmingen
Another opportunity comes from Sicily: flights from Palermo to Memmingen begin at 18.99 euros. The Bavarian town is often regarded merely as a gateway to reach other southern German destinations, yet it is worth dedicating at least a few hours to it.
Memmingen indeed features a medieval old town characterized by colorful buildings, squares, towers, and stretches of the ancient city walls. The heart is the Marktplatz, facing the late-medieval Town Hall dating back to 1488 and other historic buildings. Particularly characteristic is the Stadtbach, the small stream that flows through the old town among eateries and terraces. The walls, historic gates, and colorful façades contribute to that Bavarian small-town atmosphere which becomes even more evocative in autumn.
