From 2026 onward, the route will include new stops with departures from and arrivals to the capital, Madrid, thereby broadening the opportunity to explore some of the country’s most emblematic areas.
The elegance of a bygone era, the comfort of the present
Departing from the Aranjuez station, the Al Ándalus train immediately transports passengers into an atmosphere of another time. The carriages, originally built for the British royal family and now operated by the Renfe railway company, boast interiors lined with lacquered wood, silk sofas, gilded mirrors and scarlet velvets.
The accommodation options include the Deluxe Suite and the Grand Class Room, both with private bathrooms and refined furnishings. The suites, besides offering more space and comfort, include extra services such as complimentary minibar, personalized luggage assistance, and bed preparation on request. The atmosphere is completed by the historic lounge cars, real travel salons dating back to 1928 and 1930, which during the day come alive with live music, performances and convivial moments.
From Madrid to Seville: artful cities, wines, and architectural wonders
The journey lasts seven days and six nights and runs from April to October. It is possible to travel the itinerary in either direction: from Madrid to Seville or vice versa, and at each stop passengers can alight to participate in organized excursions, guided by an expert multilingual guide and assisted by a luxury coach that accompanies the entire route.
Along the way, some of the Iberian Peninsula’s most captivating locales are visited. In the La Mancha region, there is the opportunity to discover an artisanal dairy and sample local wines at a renowned winery. In Aranjuez, visitors wander through the gardens and rooms of the Royal Palace, while in Jerez de la Frontera a refined equestrian show unfolds, with horses and riders moving in harmony to the sounds of Spanish music.
