Crazy residences, scenographic gardens, wine goblets and rooms that look as if they came out of a period film… but with some decidedly contemporary surprises. On October 17 and 18, 2026, Veneto Villas Day returns, the event that for an entire weekend changes the rules of the classic cultural excursion. From Veneto to Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the villas become the protagonists of a journey through art, lifestyle and traditions. And yes, it could be the perfect plan to give a boost to the usual autumn weekend.
Veneto Villas Day 2026: The Program
The fifth edition of the Veneto Villas Day arrives on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026, with a program that involves hundreds of historic residences between Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The program follows several strands, designed to appeal to different interests and ways of traveling. Those who love art and history can aim for the proposals Heritage, while the Green experiences focus on parks, gardens and sustainability. For food lovers there is the Wine & Food world, with local wines and culinary specialties.
There are also Family activities, Dream stays for those who want to indulge in a special night, and Wellbeing appointments, where well-being meets the beauty of the landscape. The sections Vita di Villa and Paesaggio tell the story of the relationship between the residences, the people and the surrounding territory. And what about those who worry about October’s capricious weather? There is also a selection of experiences suitable for rainy days.

Then we surface again, among the villa’s rooms and the details of a residence that tells of a long wine history. The most anticipated moment? The tasting with two labels: Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut Millesimato and Opere Trevigiane Metodo Classico Brut, accompanied by the traditional pan da vin.
