Volotea: 500,000 Seats from €19 — 3 European Destinations to Discover Now

September 21, 2026

A new opportunity to plan a trip in the coming months arrives with Volotea’s promotion, which makes available 500,000 seats starting from 19 euros. For those enrolled in Megavolotea, fares drop even further, with tickets available from 9 euros. The promotion allows you to book until September 24, 2026 (inclusive), to fly from October 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027.

Looking through the various offers, we uncovered three destinations to explore in the coming months: Asturias, Cologne and Bordeaux.

From Bergamo to Asturias

From the mountains to the wild Atlantic coast, Asturias is a destination that reshapes itself with the seasons. The northern region of Spain, also known as Green Spain, offers a blend of nature, small towns, and vibrant cities, with and Gijón among the most interesting stops to include in an itinerary.

Oviedo preserves an elegant atmosphere, a rich pre-Roman heritage, and some UNESCO World Heritage monuments, while Gijón allows for strolling along the waterfront, exploring historic districts such as Cimavilla, and pausing at venues to sample the traditional sidra, the alcoholic drink of Asturias.

For those eager to discover lesser-known places, Asturias shelters mountain villages like Moal with traditional stone houses and a wonderful rural ambiance, wild beaches such as Playa del Silencio reachable on foot, and incredible fishing villages like Cudillero.

Asturias is also a destination deeply linked to cuisine: you should try fabada, a white-bean soup cooked with local sausages, and pote, a stew based on savoy cabbage, beans, potatoes, and pork.

From Milan Bergamo to Asturias, the flight with Volotea starts from 19 euros per leg.

From Catania to Cologne

Cologne, in Germany, is a city to be experienced beyond its famous Gothic Cathedral. The city center reveals a layered historical heritage across different eras, with twelve Romanesque churches scattered around the core, while Roman-era traces still emerge today among archaeological remains, walls, and ancient gates.

For a break away from the crowds, you can reach the Belgian Quarter, Cologne’s creative district, full of cafés, restaurants, and independent shops, or stroll through Flora, the city’s large botanical garden with more than 12,000 plant species.

A walk along the Rhine also offers a different perspective of Cologne, especially in the modern Rheinauhafen district. For those with a sweet tooth, it’s worth noting that the Chocolate Museum is located in this area.

The From Catania to Cologne route is available from 35 euros with Volotea.

From Rome to Bordeaux

Bordeaux, the capital of Aquitaine, is a destination that can be explored at different times of the year, swapping UNESCO World Heritage architecture, gastronomy (the world capital of wine) and strolls along the Garonne, the city’s vibrant heart.

One of the most interesting areas to grasp the contemporary face of Bordeaux is Darwin, on the river’s right bank in the Bastide district, where a former military area has become a space dedicated to creativity, street art, shops, and gastronomy.

For a cultural day, you can instead choose one of the city’s city museums such as the Natural History Museum or the Museum of the Sea and the Navy, or dedicate yourself to a walk through the squares and streets of the center.

The Rome Fiumicino–Bordeaux route is on offer from 29 euros with Volotea.
