The Panorama Day returns, a date that will enliven the weekend of September 6 with unmissable events, guided tours and treks promoted by FAI to rediscover Italian landscapes through guides, walks and nature activities to observe the territory. The thirteenth edition promises to be very rich with a calendar spanning the entire peninsula, including the islands.
The Panorama Day 2026
The objective of the day is not only to offer spectacular viewpoints but to invite visitors to read what lies before their eyes; a deeper inquiry that goes beyond the snapshot to share on social networks. Each landscape has something to tell, and among the observations proposed by the guides there is also a deeper look into the transformation caused by climate change. The program for September 6 pairs traditional cultural visits with environmental guides, treks, explorations and workshops suitable even for children.
The Initiatives Not to Miss
What are the most beautiful moments of the FAI Panorama Day 2026? The first is at Villa Rezzola in Lerici; in the famous village on the Gulf of Poets one can receive a binocular to spot the Palmaria and Tino islands and even catch a glimpse of Portovenere. The visits are scheduled at 10:30, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00. The ticket costs €14 full price, €9 for youths and students, and €4 for FAI members.
In Piedmont, at the Castle and Park of Masino, a hiking guide will lead visitors to discover the Morainic Amphitheatre of Ivrea and the Ivrea Serra. The ticket including entry to the Castle, Park, Labyrinth and guided walk starts from €6 for FAI members and reaches €21 for the full price.
In Bergamo, Palazzo Moroni offers a stroll of about two hours between the Lorenzo Rota Botanical Garden, the greenery of Bergamo Alta, the Italian garden and the palace’s kitchen garden. The Sunday appointment is at 10:00 and allows comparing different forms of landscape and biodiversity. Tickets cost €20 full price, €14 for students and youths, and €12 for FAI members.
On the Euganean Hills, Villa dei Vescovi offers walks in the Brolo at 11:00 and 15:00, guided tours of the Villa at 12:00 and 16:00, and the family activity “Color Hunt and Details” at 10:30 and 15:30. Self-guided admission costs €11, while the ticket with a guided tour or stroll in the Brolo is €20; for FAI members regular admission is free.
At Villa Gregoriana, in Tivoli, the panorama is narrated through art history, biology and garden care with the visit “Three Voices, One Panorama,” scheduled at 10:30, 11:30 and 15:00. At 16:00 there is also the “Sip & Paint: Panorama en Plein Air,” an artistic experience among the gorge of the Aniene, rocks, temples and vegetation. For the guided visit the full ticket is €18, €8 for FAI members.
Particularly immersive is the final appointment at the Baia di Ieranto in Campania: departure at 9:00 from Nerano for a guided trek to the bay, with the option to add snorkeling or kayaking. The trek costs €20 full, €15 for FAI members; the maritime activity package costs €50 and €45 respectively.
In Sardinia, at the Conti Vecchi Saline near Assemini, the 18:00 train tour will pass through colored basins, salt mountains and habitats populated by numerous animal species, before visiting the historic buildings of the salt works. The full ticket is €20, €8 for FAI members.
