It rises in one of Porto Cervo’s most evocative corners, and the hotel has been completely renovated thanks to a project by Palomba Serafini Studio, which reimagined the outdoor spaces for this summer season.
With a marine-inspired ethos, it blends the characteristic emerald green with earth tones, offering a true homage to the essence of the Sardinian landscape that then flows into interiors crafted from local materials and local artisanal crafts: the furniture itself becomes sculpture (one of many marvels, to be sure).
But that’s not all, because Romazzino’s beach club is also a sustainable structure, having chosen materials chosen for durability and longevity, with the involvement of local artisans such as Bam Design, Cerasarda, Mariantonia Urru and Walter Usai, who gave a strong voice to the local identity through geometric decorations, colors, and materials that recall the region’s artisanal traditions.
Romazzino, A Belmond Hotel, Costa Smeralda thus stands as an extraordinary example of Mediterranean architecture with four hectares of lush gardens, elegant restaurants, and crystal-clear waters that caress captivating rock formations, which in turn conceal sparkling pools within expansive green spaces.
The dining experience is equally refined, in the hands of Executive Chef Dario Parascandolo, who guides the culinary vision of the two restaurants and three bars at Romazzino, where dishes celebrate the best of Sardinian produce and promise delightful moments in true “Villeggiatura” style.
Missoni Resort Club
We now fly to Sicily to discover the brand-new Missoni Resort Club, which has debuted at Verdura Resort, the Rocco Forte Hotels property perched on the southern coast of this enchanting island. Verdura’s beach is fully customized with the iconic motifs and the Missoni Resort Club’s palette—drawing inspiration from the turquoise and emerald tones of summer landscapes, transforming every décor element, from sunbeds to chairs to cabanas.
Inside the resort, there is also a Missoni pop-up store where guests can enrich their stay by shopping within the boutique for whatever they desire. The color palette and the iconic patterns are echoed within the walls of the shop itself.
